First
Aid / CPR / AED American Red Cross
first aid, CPR and AED programs are designed to give
you the confidence to respond to an emergency situation
with skills that can save a life. the programs in first
aid, CPR and AED are available for any age.
Training
for Professional Rescuers A professional
rescuer has a duty to act in an emergency and to provide
care. this course is for people who are responsible
for delivering emergency care and/or ensuring public
safety. The roles of professional rescuers are varied
and include the following: firefighters, Nurses, Park
Rangers, search and rescue teams, lifeguards, and law
enforcement personnel.
Babysitter’s
Training The babysitters training
course is to provide youth who are planning to babysit
with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and
responsibly give care for children and infants. this
training will help participants to develop leasership
skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business,
keep themselves and others safe and help children behave;
and learn about basic child care and basic first aid.
This training is designed for youths ages 11-14.
Dog
and Cat First Aid Using Dog and Cat
manikins, participants learn how to prepare, prevent
and respond to pet first aid emergencies such as choking,
breathing emergencies, poisoning and exposure to extreme
weather conditions.
